Can of Cola

 A can of pop rolling loose in the car is just going to explode when you pull the tab. You can wait but you know it will make no difference, it will still explode.

Hold it upright and tap it firmly on the top several times. It is supposed to disburse the gas from the bubbles. The can may then be opened safely.
